Local Fresh is a hyperlocal marketplace connecting local farmers and vendors to consumers.
For most of human history, people ate what they grew. The food you ate could be trusted because you knew the hands that grew it. Somewhere along the way, we lost the thread. Nowadays, the majority of the food in the United States is grown on large industrial farms using synthetic chemicals and shipped across the country or internationally, orchestrated by a handful of giant corporations.
At Local Fresh, we believe that food is fuel, and you deserve to know what you put in your body. America is full of small local farms and vendors, and many of their neighbors didn't know about them—until now!
